I have recently noticed that most portraits I do tend to have very pronounced teeth. Whatever's up with that? :P
Those are some mighty nice teeth you have there.
I would love to try my hand at it myself. I tinker with Blender every now and then when I have a class that demands it. I would love to turn one of these into a 3D masterpiece. :D
I was kinda thinking of making a 3d model, yeah :D low poly and stuff. I'm a noob at that tho :)
Are you planning on doing something in 3D with these? the face map suggests you are.
Looks nice! Again, very nice transitions between those floating fields of colors, which are not dithered but rather being layers of islands mixing.
The monicle luigi looks practically finished. This is awesome stuff Mrmo. 
I really dig the finished version of the skull... Also the steamy sprite in the upper left is awesome.
Nice christmas edition to the icon. You should add it as another portrait.
