This gives me an idea to make a game about chasing after short term satisfaction at the cost of long term expense (health).. I imagine the player getting through the game with the option of grabbing mc donalds foods for short term power ups, but each time he uses one it costs him permanent stat loss after the power up ends (like slower move speed, less health max, perhaps visual weight gain as well)..
It wouldn't be explained at the beginning either, it'd be very subtle and the player would have to learn, acknowledge it, and decide how to deal with it all on their own.. (The games message would kinda rely on the player choosing to keep grabbing the food until they eventually die and lose from it)..
I'd ask you to let me use your sprites so I can program it myself (I do that), but I haven't had time to program anything that isn't for school :(.

Nice job overall.
The roof of the house looks jaggy and ugly-ish because you have used poor lines. You have 6-4-4-2-1-2-1-1-1-etc... Its is always good habit to curve while stepping down say those lines becoming 6-5-4-3-2-2-1...

Anyway nice, I like it, really. Except the character whose im not very fan.
I like everything about this except the character sprite, mainly the position/proportions of the face.
