Nice piece. At first I had real difficulty distinguishing his foreground leg though. The expression on his face is good.

Someone who calls that pillow shading does not know what real pillow shading looks like.

It's pretty good. I'd say it's lacking definition a little bit around his crotch, a bit low-contrasty in some areas (use a darker dark, I think), and not as smooth as it could be (dither, add more colours, or leave as it is if you like it). The injuries are strangely dark.. I wouldn't expect them to be any darker than the blood oozing out of them. His (his) left arm is a bit strange... I can't figure out for sure where it is. His legs could be trailing out behind him more; it'd be harder for him to fly keeping them held up to his body like that.

Overall I like it. Cool design, neat pose, not bad expression on his face. The highlighting is realyl not bad.

what is the dragon made of? because i just can't seem to find out what substance it is. allso its pretty much just pillowshading, you should learn to work with lightsources too i think
