Yeah, I agree; and areas where the perspective gets janky or the lighting style changes too much. I'll see what I can do when I revisit it, glad you like the houses since them and the hero sprite are my favourite bits of this (I'm pretty happy with the dog too).
Re: OGM PLAGIARISM - seriously? I noted areas of similarity in the description, but none of it is copied (but the long grass tile is very similar to the oracle tiles afair). Whatever though, criticism is criticism.
I really like the houses. There is a bit of flatness going on.
Nice style, but some of it is just too obviously similar to the GBC Zelda's (mostly the grass, rocks, trees and dog).
I like it but it's sooo much like zelda, look like plagiat
Trees at the bottom left more or less are unfinished ;) not sure what you mean with the high grass tile though, do you mean the bushes or something? Not totally sure of the colours there.
Note: GBC restrictions of one tilemap, and 4 colours per tile :) if I implemented it I'd go ahead and abuse transparency because we have modern machines, but that was the challenge of this piece.
I like the style, but some parts like the high grass and the trees at the bottom left look unfinished.
Its very pretty, but it feels like everything is on 1 layer. A few places look out of place due to the lack of transparency.
Nice job nonetheless!
Pretty good for a Zelda-inspired mockup.
