I'd go with something like this:
Blue text box ruins the atmosphere imo.
I say keep the blue chat box but lose the blue border.
This development has been very fun to watch, by the way. Hope the game lives up to our expectations.
Whatever you decide to do, I think the pillars really need tops to them. Perspective looks very wonky otherwise.
