if the swipe was brighter i would look more appealing

but still looks like a guy i would play

I agree that the swipe would look better if it was a bit brighter; I'm using a theme other than the default and I couldn't tell there was a swipe until I saw that comment.

perhaps it's the default background, but I think the swipe effect should be brighter.
