 Thisis literally the only entry that gives a sense of "remote". All the others have the village filling the whole frame, or something in the foreground that suggests it isn't very remote, or just not enough context to portray the idea fo remote. 

Also i like how the vegetation is a bit messy. It givs the scene more of a sense that the village is just placed in the middle of nowhere.

It is exactly what the challenge means

 The background setting (mountains, far trees) seems a bit messy, but overall it's a very nice piece.  Pretty small village! :)
