A little test of a character for the traditional FF sideview battle style, with a little more detail and animation than FF6. Its a tossup between this which is easier and an angled look like BoF which is more interesting. Crits or comments on the animation? i really need to get better at animating more than anything (color and stuff is easy, being a painter, its drawing the same thing slightly differently that i cant get the hang of ^^)

It really doesn't have much power or weight to it. Currently it's like a quick, fairly weak slash and a bit awkward looking with the character's feet lifting and shuffling around. I'd like to see her lift her leg on the windup and take a step forward and perhaps "compress" the character a little to make a hunched look and let the motion blur "catch up" to the sword and have her bring it back up a bit slower then, to give it that heavier feel.
