Updated. Added details to differentiate between this monster and Chow such as larger claws, slightly edited the mane however I will be re-doing it sometime soon and added a couple more teeth. Any suggestions?

 Ah yes. Tons to edit it seems, thanks for the criticism and suggestions! Yea, I agree with the simularities, I should give er' some more awesome and submit a different one. I'll find time to make a thread on this forum for future monsters. 

I want to keep simularities between each though. This is not a Pokemon game, I don't plan to follow their technique in the way they have such different palettes, looks, etc. 

But yes, I shall make those changes to make it further in appearence from the previous.

very nice, but i reckon chomp and chow look the same

The only difference I see is that Chomp is less chibi as compared to Chow.

That and the frankenstein's bride's hairdoo.

I also agree with Ashkin - the difference between them is minimal. Maybe more muscles and a striped coat might be cool. Anyway, great style. 

I've always like the way you render this character.

I agree with Ashkin. Give him a huge mane or giant bear claws or lots of teeth or make him larger (if possible).

I don't think there's enough of a distinction between this and Chow- it just looks like a bigger version. Adding in more details similar to the main detail might help- maybe more fur flares, around the face or something. Just a thought.
