 Thank you. Interesting thought there, making it a whole column with a swap. The reason why it's just a half column is because the it's supposed to be the left side of a frame. The right side of the stone frame has a column with skulls on it with the same kind of animation. It was quite a bit of job put into it.  

very nice. i also like the colors (more yellowish in the lights). having them going right to the middle (so you face a (half) frontal view) as it seems to be the case, couldn't you mirror it and have full view (not only the right half)?

wow thats great.  The beard does change a bit as it rotates, and it seems the forehead does a bit too, but its minor stuff.  Very impressive animation.
