I'd just cut 20 pixels from each side xD
Clothes are the only bad part, the face and hair are awesome !

Very cool! I agree that the clothes could be more detailed but you did a very good job at it.
I found very interesting technique, but the clothes he is wearing is very poorly finished. I loved the palette.I also liked the way you did to get the effect on WIP.
