No need to be sorry. Don't ever say that when you speak of your art to anyone...be proud.
I was just saying something and not making a crit.
http://migre.me/cp8G3 . This is the Mayan sculpture that reminded me your work.
I think the problem in the leg is: the enlightenment of the creature comes from the right. But in the left leg, illumination comes from the left.
Updated the shading on the body/shoulder area, as for the left foot not sure whats wrong with it since both the left and right foot are shaded identically.
Regarding the Mayan sculptures, I'm very interested in seeing the sculptures that this reminded you of do you have some links you could post?
The numbers are title substitutes.
@jalonso: Sorry about that, it wasn't intentional, I just didn't find any other place to put the fourth horn on without it looking off.
Why hide a horn on a 4 horn challenge...I had to sit and stare for a while before deciding it did meet the rules
The creature's chin should shade the entire chest halfway right shoulder ->.
Its funny you say that, as the design is the only thing I'm really happy with, regarding the colors effectively this piece uses 5, the 2 pure white(required by the challenge)pixels on the eyes and the second lightest grey used on the leafs could be axed without significant loss.
I think I corrected the shading on the leg now.
Hmm I don't really see the resemblance, but it looks beautiful regardless, after googling some more I've really grown to like these, excpect to see some influence in one of my upcoming pieces.
@jalonso: Don't worry I wasn't apologizing for my art, just for the confusion caused deciding wether this met the requirements or not, appreciate your concern though.
