Well in my opinion flat opacity is on the edge of pixel art. This is still all full pixel art made by hand, just set in code to be transparent. Dunno whats the problem? There is no generated AA or anything like that. Cmon, there are many different ways to do pixel art... not just 1
I am not trying to make stuff according to a palette or use a certain amount of colors. Im trying to create something that pleases my need to make art :)
Nice but at what point was that sort of transparency allowed on Pixel Joint? I must have missed something...
I think this is a great piece, but I think it's clearly illegal use of transparency. The glass on the ticket booth would be legal PA transparency... The fact that the buttons stand out this much just shows why it can be a problem in the PA world. Nice mock up though! I like the graffiti... My favorite form of art.
