Euphydryas Editha Aurilacus: A subspecies of the species, "Edith Checkerspot".

 This is my first Pixel Art submission. I used a picture I took (not uploaded on the net) as reference. It is not traced. I used 8 frames (5 unique frames). Made with Pixen on a Mac.

 Edited (12/28/12): I made the first frame 4 times longer.

 Edited (1/14/13): I eliminated the animation in the small file. I fixed the shadow in the small file and made it transparent. I put in a red "A" in the small file to show that the detail file is animated. The number of colors in the small file have been reduced from 22 to 15. I put a background in the detail file. The number of colors in the detail file have been increased from 22 to 26.
