As soon as I saw this challenge I knew I wanted to do some sort of cavern with emeralds. Originally I was going to make a platformer mock up, but it just sorta turned into this. This is also my first full picture in pixel art, so I am very happy about that.

11 colors plus transparency

Edit: I just noticed this, but for some reason the contrast is a lot higher on this website, than when I view it in photoshop. So the darkest grey is going to be pretty much impossible to see, but that's Pixel Joint's fault.

Thanks for the compliment! I'm glad you like the atmosphere. It's a bummer the colors look different in a web browser, but I'll just have to live with it.

Great job! I really like the atmosphere you created.

The color difference between photoshop and the web is actually the fault of the browser. But I copied your image into photoshop, and I saw the difference, wow! The purple is a lot deeper on th web too (in both firefox and chrome) compared to photoshop too .

FYI, PJ preview files are best when under 10k (yours is 12k). This is why its in your gallery but does not show on the front page, k.
