Origionally pixelled in 16 colours, i repixelled it to 128 colours for CD version.

The lava was animated using colour cycling, you can bring it into deluxe paint 2 and set up the 11 lava colours as a range and play the cycle to see how it would have looked.  make sure not to set the cycle too fast.  Cheap way of having animated lava in a level.

Hi showtime,

pm me and ill email ye the .lbm file, u have deluxe paint 2?.  its nothing special but i thought id submit it as it used colour cycling a lot on the floor,  very handy technique, thought it might be handy for some people who have never used it before to see how it works.

Any way you could post a link to the image? I'd love to see what it looked like.

Palette cycling can be pretty awesome for animating fluids, indeed!
