Better get working on my pixel clusters: This is how I want to be able to pixel. <3
Yeah, I think it has something to do with the opacity being highlighted and zooming in and out. Is there any way I can change that?
What the other guys said.
What happens might be this: hitting enter when using a number of tools like the pen and brush highlights the opacity setting; then hitting the down arrow will lower it 1% at a time. Tricky (this is in CS2; dunno about CS5 though).
I like the style but I must agree with cure. I feel that BG color should change (maybe something darker or brighter, but the current colour is a bit confusing to the sight, I'm not sure why).
Cool!
It has those Charizard claws going on, pretty pokemon in that regard
Not to downplay the amazing colors, and great design, but what I LOVE is that wavy moustache
I never have issues like that. Go to general preferences (ctrl+K) and change the global interpolation to nearest neighbour. If that doesn't fix it make sure your using the pencil tool not the brush tool. In general look for any "AA" settings in the top tool specific bar.
I have a workspace saved that's setup specifically for pixel art. =p
Maybe start saving as gif instead of png? I know png can act funny and possibly add unwanted colors at times. Although photoshop in general is funny with pixel art. I'll make a line of an area I want to fill in and use the bucket tool to fill it in. If I don't like the color, I go to recolor it with the bucket again, but it doesn't get the line I made and thinks of it as a different color. PS can sometimes get finicky x__x;
Very nice dragon btw.
I like the bg in the preview but it's a little loud in the fullview, and the black is crowding the dragon at the top. Nice design btw
Thanks everyone, though there's been a problem I've been experiencing with PA lately I'd like to ask about: The opacity will sometimes go slightly down to around 90% or so, seemingly at random, and therefore I have all these obnoxious color duplicates. I use PS CS5 and it's never happened to me before.
I think the bg could be tonned down for I find it a bit distracting. Other than that you are simply solidifying your place as one of the most stylish pixel artists on this site. keep it up BRO.
Very dynamic and striking! Well done!
