ah yea... those conspiracy theories.
There was a time when I would just delve into any theory, look things up, watching documentaries on the "supposed impending mass genocide on american soil" and so on. Over time I've had developed a very negative and pessimistic view on things that helped drag me into a depression.
I've stopped informing myself on most of the matters that fall into this category, albeit there are a few exceptions every now and then. wether you believe alex johnes or the mass media is your decision, IMO the truth lies somewhere inbetween. Both sides have their fair share of fear mongering.
I would guess that a lot of shit is happening in the world when it comes to influential people and their abuse of power and corruption... still I always try to believe in the good things in life. And at least that doesn't drag me into a depression like watching the latest installment of "Prison Earth - Genocide and Enslavement" or w.e.
I do like the simple oldschool feel this has, but I've got to point out that the not upside down flipped version of the pentagram isn't realy accurate. at least, in conjunction with the satanic goat demon. A pentagram in it's upright position is a mere protection circle. it does no harm. the flipped one is the one you need to worry about.
Nice to see you posting again, your work was an early influence when I first came here.
Nah, the pentagram is a pretty wide spread symbol used in many religions and has often changed its meaning. I agree that if the pentagram is associated with satanism, then it is generaly with one edge down and two up. But I wouldn't generalize it that much in the other aspects.
Sorry if I sound like a smartass.
