Without the person, i think this piece would be a lot better. It ruins the sense of proportion and looks just tacked on.
Yep, Dr D and Ultimaodin are both right, this thing is totally fake and I know. Also the shadow of the 'mountain' casts all the way to the horizon on the left side and the huts on the hill are totally weird in comparisation with the houses next to the water ;)
Of course you can, just at a very, very slow frame rate.
Is the mountain casting a shadow on the air?
Looks very cool, tho. Nice work.
That person is huge, especially in comparison to the houses. Must be a giant. ^_^
Sorry, but you can't really make animations on an etch a sketch, can you? ;)
Wot! No anim in full image?
I don't really think the dither fits with the rest of the image but it looks great nonetheless.
If you mean what I think you mean: That is the horizon. Without it this picture looks really awkward!
Thanks for the compliments and taking time to watch!
I think the hill shadow would work a lot better if you layer the shading styles a bit instead of just having one sudden switch. The buildings look really nice, though, especially the perspective on the ones following the river.
So, whats the story behind the little white guy?
Not too sure if I like the shadow, but otherwise its a pretty solid entry.
This looks wonderful. I'm glad a couple of people attempted the bonus challenge rule. Isn't quite an etch-a-sketch tribute without all of the grey connecting.
Nice style
