Others have already said what's necessary so instead of repeating them I'll just say it's a nice start. I like the colors and how you blend them. I love drawing clouds too :-)
If there is one sure sign of an artist that will be successful it's that they have the ability to take advice with a positive attitude! Keep it up, I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future.
Yes I entirely agree : ) I really must get around to enforcing better technique in my work haha. I've always loved to draw clouds but never actually studied them, and I'm certainly going to now.
The thing with "cartoony" or simplified drawings, be it of a person or a cloud. is that they are referencing real things. The best cartoons, the most evocative and exciting, are the ones in which the artist has taken time to learn what they are drawing. Anatomy, gesture and expression for figures. Light, form and volume for something like clouds. Even if something is stylized, an understanding of it's base form will allow you to know what to accentuate and what to get rid of.
This is why I advocate study over style. By all means have fun, but the understanding of a thing is the foundation for it's simplification.
- Looks pretty neat overall, like the simplicity/cartoonyness feel to it -
- Could use a little refinement , not much needed though -
Thanks for all the c&c :) ill check out some references and study them, but otherwise I actually intended for some "messy" parts, such as the light blue border across the top left. It's probably because I've become a fan of Homestuck though haha but I like it. The cloud wasn't really meant to be "real" more of just kind of a nice idea of one.. I suppose studying real ones will make for better ones though :) I also appreciate the nice comments about the palette because all the colors are from my 49 color palette for my game :0 made entirely by hand too, no cheap tricks haha. Thank you so much for the advice though :) @crosier thank you for referencing that :) I see what you mean :0 ill definitely take that example and try to do something :)
Good start, but the peice would benifit from some general study. I would suggest collecting a bunch of referance images and examining how clouds work; look at their volume, how the light hits them. These things should give you a better idea how to form one on your own. Maybe try drawing 10 skyscapes in 5 minutes each. Don't be afraid of looking at how other artist have painted either. These things will help build up how clouds work in your head.
Oh and I would suggest staying rough, messy and zoomed out until you have something you think you can refine.
I hope that helps!
Some spots are very nice (like the topright and center). Decent colors, but a few parts are a tad messy. Might be a personal preference, but I just don't seem to like those whisps. I dunno, the second one from the top looks more like a knife blade XD And therefore I don't like the bottom cloud since its practically a big whisp.
Well keep it up. I do enjoy it, even with those minor faults (along with the ones Jal mentioned in the chatterbox).
-edit- And here's a link to a pic I favorited recently. Pay attention to the color schemes and refinement.

Thank you for all the c&c c: As of right now I am working on a game, and I don't have much time to go over this again haha. I'll revisit the clouds and remake them when the time comes to do so but for now I'll let it sit here instead :/
