Revised version of my original picture. fixed up the line art and added a nicer contrast. any tips or suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it. I'm trying to do a shaded version but I'm having trouble making it look right, and every time I try and make the hair look curvy it looks worse. I'll keep trying though.

Shading. Shading nowhere. Seriously, slap some darker tones on that thang. And your straight edges on the hair could be curvier. Just sayin'.

The only thing thats bugging me is the left eyebrow is showing through his hair but that aside I think the character is quite nice.
