It seems weird to me that the roofs shingles are the same size as the recede into the distance.
I believe theres a staircase in the middle but it could still use 1px fade line.
@TheInquisitor: Yeah the characters were done by another artist for the old version of the game. The developer may or may not let me completely revamp them. We'll just have to see. Thanks for the critique! =]
I firmly agree with the sentiments about the characters compared to the backgrounds. I can only assume that either another artist did the characters or if it's not finished then you've not got around to polish them?
The backgrounds are excellent, but on this one is there some reason why there's such a hard edge transition from road to sky? It looks a little jarring, especially as it starts to go shady just at the point where it connects with the blue.

@DragonMarx: The game uses parallax and so only the clouds in the middle will be seen by the player. No point in wasting my client's money making cloud variations! =]
try editing the clouds a little bit instead of just using copy/paste. It's not much mork if you just tweak them in small ways.
among all I've seen '' but its still awesome, the road in the middle could get a little blue in the horizon, it just got cutt off.
This is amazing! The multiple layers of buildings and trees really bring this together as a holistic background. One of the best I've seen.
I do agree - there seems to be a huge disparity between background art and character art. Congratulations on the work though, it's amazing.
