Yeah maybe I shouldn't have shared that thought at all.
The girl reminds me of Misty :). And perhaps the character on the right could use facial features.. It took me a while to realize it was a character and not an egg.
@Theoden: I don't think this is the right place to discuss the work of Bluebox, if you feel like this is a serious issue why not give your own votes in the queue or start a topic in the support forum?

But I noticed something in PJ community. If this piece was posted by someone who hasn't yet proved his/her pixelling abilities several times, either moderators would have voted this to be revised and not accept it or -if accepted to the gallery- members would have began saying things like:"This looks unfinished", "You should shade it.", "This is not pixel art.","This is just a scetch.".
I saw this happening to PJ member Bluebox, for this piece of him here: http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/76285.htm.
And he even has good works in his gallery but again he receives such harsh comments.
People are even saying that his work is NOT pixel art. If not pixel art then I don't what it is.
I like this one, mostly because of its simplicity. I do think some of the jaggy lines could be cleaned up though.
