Hah, I actually saw some of his WIPs while I was making this. I liked them, but they didn't have that "homey" feel I wanted to portray. I'm working at a much smaller scale than him, so it's harder to pack the details in.

I'm a programmer by trade, not a pixel artist. Any specific suggestions are welcome, as they will help me improve on my technique, and help me in the long run at mastering an art that I find foreign and difficult to grasp.

 Could be a little more refined but pretty good nonetheless. Nice job :)
