Ok !, I have not finished the development of the game and I have very clear what kind of explosion use but if I use yours will let you know and give her credit.
It's pretty common... first place I've seen the effect is in Metal Slug. I do something similar, but I skip the black circle frame.

I think the flashing circle is a nice touch, like in metal slug <3 Cool animation, DB palette is always a charm

I love it, but I wish the circle was gone so I could view it easier.
The explosion is neat, but why is there this flashing circle at the beginning?
