yep i went back to it and it's so painfully obvious now T_T. I also didnt have music on last time, and it's awesome. =p
Went through the game pretty quickly, but it was still neat. I liked the idea of the resolution getting bigger.
can you beat the level with the three adjacent crates left of your starting position? i only tried twice, but can't see how i'd be possible.
Nice little game, the concept of the sprites' resolution is cool :)
Yeah! Here's the Dare entry page: www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-24/
Thanks! Actually, to correct myself, the sprites of the first three levels were done in 72 hours. This game was my first attempt at programming in Actionscript3, so I put more time in that to learn it. I did the sprites for the third level and added a splash screen after the jam ended
such a lovely game
this was made in a mere 72 hours? wow!
I like the game idea! I enjoyed the way the difficulty and the complexity of the chiptune soundtrack increase with the resolution. Pleasant-looking textures on those crenellated walls too.
