Very very good, I absolutely love the fire, mood and pose in this. The only thing i could say is the same thing i have problems with, the pose of the hands. I can't draw hands either, but Im trying to help as per your request.
Thanks to everyone for your comments and criticism! I haven't been doing pixel art for very long, so detailed analysis of my errors and where i can make improvements are very much appreciated.
Also, her shoulders don't seem to be aligned correctly, the foot closest to the viewer is smaller than the one farther away, the part where her left sleeve attatches to her shirt shouldn't be as attatched to the part holding up her breast (it makes her left breast look larger than the right), she's missing her right eyebrow, and finally this picture seems to have a lot of jaggies (picture credit of Cure).
I'm sorry if I come off as rude, just trying to help a lil'.
What you're seeing is how the abdomen is wide compared to under her chest. If anything, it's not twisted. The artist used the bottom of the shirt to hide where the character twists instead of having the abdomen turn like it should.
Kaorul, I believe the abdomen should start facing the same direction as the rest of her torso, and then twist to the direction of her hips.
Good job.
It would look much better with some aliasing.
reminds me of annie, from league of legends, nice job.
Great !!
I love that you give movement to your work with a very good pose.
Nice job =)
The fire is well done but too detailed to be consistent with the overall cartoonish style.
Agree with Connor about the light sources.
Linework could use some polishing.
Anatomy: there's something wrong in the belly/waist area, can't pinpoint what.
Need to fix the lighting. Two sources, and you've only shaded for one.
Nice work, especially the fire and lighting.
Some AA would really help as well :D
Your fire is nice and warm. Fingers are wonderful too. You need to do some anatomical studies, but there are nothing you can't handle with a learning and trying.
