@Silverpixel, I liked The original and the Animation looks good to me too. It is grainy upclose, but I believe that not all art is meant to be viewed up close (for example pointalisim).
I have removed the offensive convo related comments once and will do so again. If I need to come back here for a third time we will need to take some action
