Nice one, underb0ss!

Hapiel's feedback is very detailed and I guess there is nothing left to be added.

Nice work!

As you request for tips:

I would completely rework the sky. The sun trough the clouds is a nice idea but with all these flat surfaces it looks really weird. Perhaps get a more cartoony blob contour on the edge of the clouds and use the two colors that you have there to make two more distinct layers!
The mountains could perhaps use a low contras second color too, this is much more importan than the anti alias! Right now all mountains seem to have the same distance for the foreground.. Study some real mountain landscapes, place some mountains in the background (darker color perhaps) and some in the foreground and give the mountain more realistic shapes! Right now they are very weirdly jagged.

As for the character, why does he have such short legs? If this is not some kind of special feature of the character I would get rid of it, either raise the waist line or raise the character as a whole.
The shadow on the floor is a bit weird, especially if you consider the position of the sun. Perhaps take of some pixels of the top part of it, so it becomes an elips instead of a half circle.

The floor tile is not seamless, I can see very easily where the tile ends and where the tile starts! Try to make some of the 'blobs' overlap over edge of the tile!

Last but not least, I recommend you experiment with your own colors. It is worth it :)

Hearts might need some changes and his waist is way too low, otherwise, I like the feel.

- I'd go with a custom palette... not that it's bad, but doesn't exactly fit. -

    - Seen something similar to this before, looks nice overall though . -
