Love the colors and the atmosphere. The beer is especially well-realized.
A Mod must have thought it 'within' the bounds or spirit of the challenge and added it. I gotta admit I contemplated overridding and adding too. If noone objects it can remain :)

It seems, someone entered this in the challenge anyway. (Or did I check the box by accident? Pretty sure I didn't.) I'm OK with it, as long as everybody else is. If someone feels this is not fair because the rules clearly state "two", please tell me. You can PM me if you don't want to do that publicly, I won't reveal your name. I would respect that and make sure my piece is taken out of the challenge.
@failureboy: Made the windows yellow. Now they stand out even more, but they also contrast more with the paper. Not sure if you'll like this better than the version before, but I certainly do, so thanks for the hint. :D

You could try to make the window color more brownish... Other than that, good execution, I like it.

I can see why, despite of having 3 main characters instead of 2, this piece was still accepted. These fellas are a trio. If one were to remove either one of them, the piece just wouldn't have the same spirit. It would be like having only 2 musketeers or 2 Magi... it just wouldn't be the same.
