a few weeks ago was the 10 year anniversary of pokemon ruby and sapphire, my first and favorite pokemon game, since it can now technically be considered a "classic" game, i wanted to do a retro-esque sprite of a gen 3 pokemon, and my friend suggested breloom, so there you go

Nice choice, breloom is a cool pokemon.

I like the rendition, its simple but effective.

yeah, the external AA is something i was kinda iffy about. I may get rid of it eventually

Semont (Level 1 Rookie) @ 4/11/2013 00:33

Nice job on the dithering, it really brings out that retro look you wanted to achieve.

I'm not a fan of the external AA but due to the black outline and the default gray background of pixeljoint, I can't really notice it at x1.

 Oh, sorry :o

This just reminded me of the demakes I made a while ago for Gardevoir, Ninjask, and Swampert. I remembered the dimensioned and got a little confused when I saw yours.

Looks pretty beast! Loving that iconic anti-aliasing you saw in the old games around the edges! :D

pmoth (Level 1 Thug) @ 4/10/2013 19:34

what oceanscented said. i just wanted to make it similar to a retro sprite, i wasn't trying to make it accurate by any means.

OCEANSCENTED (Level 3 Enforcer) @ 4/10/2013 19:31

She wasn't really trying to emulate restrictions; just the style.

PS I still love this

MikauKahn (Level 4 Team Leader) @ 4/10/2013 18:20

Looks like you didn't pull off the correct restrictions: 4 colors, 56x56 resolution.

 Love it :3
