This is a sprite of Chaos Zero from Sonic Adventure, part of my latest series of sprites involving Chaos. My next piece will be a 960x640 in-game concept screenshot of Perfect Chaos fighting Sonic, and will feature a similar progression GIF as this one, but will be much more detailed and larger.

This is how my workflow works.

1 - Silhouette of sprite's general design.

2 - Color selection and general shading.

3 - Precise detailing.

4 - Anti-aliasing and adaptive dithering.

5 - post-processing and color correction.
