Also, as a bit of criticism perhaps, as previously mentioned not only the head, the overall work looks a slight bit flat, due to the nature of the texture / rendering used. And I think you should lower the contrast between colors on the darker areas, it looks more uniform and readable... I think, maybe. Er. >_>

this piece by far meets gallery standards.  It's a great piece!!  Fantastic sprite though the head is a little flat

 P-probably not. I'm not confident my pixel art meets pixeljoint standards.

Too hardcore for me.
