Pretty cool design but I'm not really liking the palette. I'm really curious to see how this will turn out if you decide to come back to it later.
@greenraven
Seriously? Which mod?
Ah, I saw 2 lighting mistakes : The wooden platforms' border (the ones on the right should have a darker border than the ones on the left), and the stair fronst that should be lighter than their side.
Thanks ultimaodin, I'm not sure why ther are so many colours, I was working on it in MS Paint, Photoshop and Art Studio on the iPad so may be the colours didn't transfer exactly and ended up multiplying.
I agree about the different styles...more experimenting required!

Thin walls are thin.
As far as the colour count, by looking at it, I think you've made the same mistake I've made on plenty of occasions where you have the brush opacity set to 99%. (That 1% is a real killer when you check the colour count)
The characters feel like they are of a different 'style' to the fort itself, which is slightly off putting.
Guess that makes me third then
Unfortunately there are way more colors in this than it seems at first look, you must have used some soft tool somewhere even though I can't see where.
Not too bad. And don't feel so bad about your age. One of our mods is 60ish. He does iso too.
