You have such a distinct, cartoony style. It's great stuff.
I usually really hate (/fear) clowns, but his look doesn't seem scary since he doesn't have creepy eye make-up or rictus. As FlyGuy said, it will depend on his behavior.

If you're going for a funny and loveable thing then you should definitely make his lower body shorter and give him really short legs. Also maybe using poofy hair would give off a less "scary clown" look.
Clown is awesome. I dont know if i'd say funny and loveable. He looks pretty scary. Definitely depends on the personality given to him throughout the show though. (Clown has the best design though) ...This whole set smells like Rocko/Stimpy. I love it.
