So yeah only pixel art is allowed here. If you're unsure what that means I suggest browsing around the gallery a bit.

Well, it's a nice, strange, peice of work, but I don't know if this can be considered pixelart. It looks as if you used a tool with AA or blurring. There are some colors only used once or twice, and has a rather high color count, for a sprite. 

The thing with pixelart is you can't really have transparent layers, nor blending via tools other than by dithering (or similar methods) or manually introducing new colors. I suggest reading this- http://www.pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=11299

So, I do not beleive this peice is going to get into the gallery because of that, and I hope that doesn't discourage you. Give that tutorial a read-through, and perhaps try to participate in our weekly challenges.
