I love how you used little to none dithering. It keeps a pixel-ey, daring motif to it.
The colors tell me something, something I cannot understand, but they're soothing, in a creepy, good way.
The cat? Oh I loved him! And I'm sure he lives on on this picture forever now. Not as his own avatar, but as the whole picture, as it's obvious it reflects his soothingly deviant nature as a whole.
What the other guys said. I like it despite the flaws. Keep cleaning it. And keep experimenting!
That checkerboard dithering hurts!
thanks for commenting.... there's definetly something that doesn't work on the image. something about colors, something about the lamp (too detailed and different from the rest)
I'll try to figure out how to improve it :)
This is odd, It's messy and the noisyness of it bugs me. Yet, there is a strange allure to this. I do feel the colour could be less or the colours have more contrast in them as there are a couple purples and a couple blues that look similar to each other and aren't noticeably different until you zoom in to 3x zoom.
I'm not sure how to explain it but this looks... like goopy or waxy. It looks strange.
edit completed: I might change some details later, but I consider this done.
I'm working on an edit.... and cleaning it up a bit :)
It would be even cooler if you cleaned it all up. Its a great image that is so sloppy on the pixel level, not style.
This white looks so cute
