The forum is a much better place for help than the gallery. Some things take time to understand so ask all the questions you need. Making WIP threads before submitting to the gallery can be very helpful.
Oh I apologize, I've read that one the most of the bunch i've read, I guess I didn't understand exactly what you meant.
Were you refering to the 'But how do I start the image?' part?
Iow, starting with line art instead of a wider brush? Is there a some flaw or mistake I make? Please explain so I can understand a little better! Thank you.

You keep trying and experimenting and that's great.
In your next pixel focus on lineart and especially clean lines which you are still very messy on. If you haven't already check out cure's tutorial thread in the forum's resource section.
