All objects of the work turned out great. Only the lamp that not much. [See this lamp]
Thanks guys,
@ska: your colours look better, will edit if I have time.
@Farenheit: I'm not very happy with the lamp in general. Shape is lumpy, etc.
@Manu: Candle is only an example light source ;)
On the skull, do you mean the highlight is too thin? Lighting is inconsistent all round on the skull especially, the side should be much darker for example. I'll see what I can do! I don't know what I was thinking with the watch - book was originally flatter I think, so the timepiece was touching the table surface.
Good decision =)
Great crepuscular atmosphere here. I have nitpicks though ;)
I really can't see a candle here, looks like a lightbulb to me. My bad. Mixed up challenges!
Perspective is slightly off, as a result some objects don't really feel grounded. Mostly the watch, book and candle.
Inconsistent light: the ultra-thin skull highlight doesn't fit the relative position of the light source, and the sliver of light on the 'table' at lower left is just impossible. The apple fits better in these respects.
Transparent petals might be brighter and even act as secondary light source.
I dont really like the dithering on the lamp.
Looking swell :D Maybe make the light brighter though. Quick colour edit.
I'm not much of a fan of monochromatic pieces, but this is pretty well done.
