when I took a look at this again I recognized that this is not good work :-P

Is this a challenge entry? You are not using the candle as a lightsource, that's what the challenge is all about, If this is an entry this can't be transparent. Overall this looks kinda lazy and unfinished.

I dunno dude...not sure if this'll get into the gallery. I really don't think I'd vote either way. For something to qualify as pixel art, size doesn't matter as much as detail and pixel-level control. You might wanna try remaking this piece on a smaller scale if it doesn't get accepted.
