ty everybody here ;)
Rather then having that massive black space, Try trimming it down the take advantage of the rule of thirds a biiit better.
Nice light.. but you have a lot of problems with body proportions
his head reminds me of the robotic heads seen later in bioshock infinite =D
nice colors, very weird shapes
Kinda really weird. I dunno, the anatomy seems off, somehow... It looks like the head of a man and the body of a woman. o_O
In spite of the oddness, the shading and stuff does look nice.
the lack of hands is really jarring. Cool colors though
- Great Job :), very smooth! -
Dont ask me why but this remembers me of Bioshock from 2k.
lets say it was an inspiration which I looked at and game me the idea for this :)
Honestly, I don't think this looks like the character in the reference. The shoulders and chest of that character are wide and broad, far more substantial than what you have right now. If it weren't for the head, I'd pin this character as a girl just because of the silhouette of the hips and butt. The character is obviously meant to be imposing and masculine, but what you have here looks more feminine due to the slender body.
a little better? last version
Neck is too thin for the head. Seems you're afraid to draw hands. The shoulder of the lowered arm should be lower itself. I can't understand the jacket-collar-thing. Jaw is still kinda strong.
ultimanodin, you opened my mind to something new, ty bro ^^ ill be working on that ASAP!
As much as I love this and all your other works, I'd love to see you add more pixel detail to all these large pieces. Like a belt and buckle with maybe a holster. A badge as Riley suggested, some stuble on his face. The knot in the tie, A pocket on the pants and one on his left breast. Some outer AA on the orange part of the curtain where it meets the window etc...
I should have posted all this in the WIP thread.
If you ever come back to edit this more, I think you should include a badge in his right hand. The guy feels like a detective coming in to question people. I'm envious of your ability to sketch this stuff out.
