This is a very simple death explosion I made for a project I'm working on. I wanted to try to do something zelda-ish. The monster is called a Ruza which was named after a bud (Urza) of mine had his name said wrong. Feel free to critique me. I learn and improve from it.

Thanks for that. Glad you liked it. To be honest it might possibly look better symmetrical, but it's hard to say really.

Cute character and well animated. The asymmetry of the explosion smoke adds a very nice touch :)

I can see that there might be a perspective issue as I watch it. There's no mushroom cloud, or rather there was no intention for a mushroom cloud effect to be seen. It's more like an outward blast, sort of. I'm not really sure to be honest.

I might be completely and totally wrong, but the perspective to me seems a little off on the smoke. Maybe it's because there's no mushroom cloud going up? I'm not sure what it is, so that's not too much help.
