Thanks all, turns out it's actually 11 colours, That's what I get for doing most of my work in Photoshop and not checking it before posting!
The top of the sky reminds me of GB colors <3 The underground part is a very nice addition, with the light and pipes. Great idea you had here!
This is a really great take on the mario bros. I think you did a great job in creating the mood and feel in this. Although, I think it could have used another step in value, not a very hot highligh but some more light. It's almost at the dull side and I can't help but feel that even though it's a dull scene, it could use a bit more light.

I really like this, the pallete and atmosphere is just great. The outline of Mario's hat stands out as a bit jagged though.
My my...not the strickest interpretation but an amazing one nevertheless. *Sigh* Guess I won't be even placing on this one. :/
Great remake. I thought any good entry would have to forego the classic platform grid but this shows otherwise.
I really like this piece. It feels like a remake of the original game but in a more futuristic era or an alternate reality. And I love how complex it is. It has a lot of small details and different things to look at.
