This is very cute and homey.

I could tell which part of the level it was, but its just a little wierd because that block is invisible in the game.

I like the style but the colors are really holding it back.  The ? block is totally monochrome and lacks contrast, same with the pipe and ground.  The pipe gets kind of lost in the background.  The trees could get more blue as they go back.

 I do like the ammount of layers in this. Cute, but flawed style, too. It's nice. But as FreshSheet said, it could be a little more like the original, in terms of layout.

 You can't really tell its world 1-1 at all
