I'm afraid I have to agree with everybody else. The characters are not appealing, and lack of volume and perspective.
The rest of the tileset and items is really pretty and coherent. I like specially the style of the water explosions. Perhaps the only thing it's a bit off is that water potion, it looks like a mana potion from Diablo II.

That game is amazing..actually working on a remake of it myself. This looks great man, good work.
I agree on the character, its perspective would fit a sidescroller mock rather than what i want to do here, so ill have to revisit him later on
- Wonderful Tiles!, but not too with the character, feels off in perspective , or doesn't have much depth. -
- and looks like bomberman. -
