48 distinct unique characters composed into one piece. 

The idea was to draw as many characters as possible and then compose the all into one pic. That turned out to be a terrible idea. I had to think about composition first, but I didn't. Struggled too much with proper placement and background and the hand... And the final size.. sigh.. I didn't expect it to be 1K pixels wide.

Other references:
1) "The March of Progress" - a  Rudolph Zallinger's picture - it is a famous diagram depicting descent of man. I used its idea.
2) "The Creation of Adam" - Michelangelo's fresco. I have redrawn God hand from it.
3) Used some colors from DawnBringer's palette though I changed some of them and added some more - so I don't really know which colors are from his palette.
