 I really love what Pukahuna has done with the colors. I agree with Brejan about the wings. They could use a little more form. Looking at it now after so long I also noticed that the arrow pouch isn't really connected to the rider in anyway. Regarding the genital area, I saw this as pixelated censorship, which I found pretty amusing.

Excellent work, although his genitalia look rather strange! Seriously though I really like the colours, the rendering and the creatures texture. My only criticisms (which I should really apply to the original line art rather than your rendition) would be the bow looks a bit small and it is not clear, to me at least, whether the limbs on the creature are meant to be wings, as it is flying I presume they are but it may look better with a bit more 'wing' shape (iSTVAN does have a response to this on his original post).
