Top Pixel Art - June 2013 (#2)
The water is really fantastic, but then again, there are so many little details to be admired in this, from the chimney ghost to the burrowing chicken. What a fun piece!

Yeah the jittery animation didn't come off very well! I was trying to simulate a burst of strong breeze/wind effect on the girl. I'll do better next time Thanks for the pointers

I love the work, it's very detailed and stylish, the only issue I see is that the girl on the top of the tree looks jittery, maybe you should slow her animation down a bit.

One of my favourite pieces on the entire site. Great character designs, neat little details, brilliant water effect. I'm seeing games, toys, a TV series and a feature film. Somebody sort it out.

If I were to point out anything about this piece with criticism it would be that the girl on the canopy looks a bit too 2d.
But...the water current...flows...INTO ITSELF?!

I really like eveything, but not the top of the tree, it looks flat.
When I saw the preivew I thought "hmm this looks like it could be one of cocefi's peices". Great job
The shaking on the girl is a little weird though.

Yeah the tree canopy is a little off. I wanted to try something different from my usual bushy tree tops but struggled to get it to work with the rest of the piece. 
I did learn a lot from all these experimentations though!
@Hapiel: Thank you! For the water, I just highlight chunks of it and shift the pixels up/down on certain intervals. I'll put up a more comprehensive guide on this when I get the chance.

The treetop doesn't really look like it fits to me. Other than that I really like this.
