This is very hard to read and it's eyes are crossed on purpose? In general the lines are ok but I feel like the dogs head reads more teddy bear then a puppy.
Use the highlights to show shape rather then where you think it should go. Play with the shading to your advantage for the viewer to better understand what they are viewing.
On this scale every single pixel can change the look of the piece along with color choices. You really don't need 8 colors and why have black outlines when you can use dark brown?
