I made a slight edit to the image. http://imgur.com/Y8Qg5tG
I think more promising is the nondithered version.
I suggest less use of outlines and more use of shades to define the forms.
While my edit is not that good, hopefully it is a step in the right direction. Also the blue blotch I put under your left eye might not exactly mke much sense.
Thank you, and sorry for having such a flat and high forehead. I should wear some sort of hat to cover that.
Just kidding, I know what you mean. Wasn't very satisfied with that part but couldn't find better solutions for it at the time. Probably easy to fix after I spend my time with something different and come to it back with a fresh pair of eyes.
If I don't forget it I will experiment with the forehead again in a few days and if I get much better results I will update.
Nice. I like. The only bit that bothers me is that flat blue part up the top. It breaks the form and is very jarring.
Man, it's really amazing, seriously, it is amazing .. congratulations, or have a say too.
Cool and thank you for your input and edit, it's very helpful.
Yeah, I went crazy with the dithering but it was too much fun to do so.
It's actually harder for me to represent form with lines rather than shades so your comment confused me at first. The lines that define the eye are small but high contrast details (eyelashes laying on top of eyelids creating very dark small edges from looking slightly up to the camera). Tweaked a little but not much, don't know if that's what you meant.
Thank you again!
